   Check the right place and dates

   Review the forecast for the places and dates that matter to your trip. Do not assume a forecast for your current location describes your destination.

   Turn conditions into a few useful items

   Think about a rain layer, sun protection, a warm layer or other items that match the conditions and what you plan to do. Avoid adding every possible weather item.

   Review near departure

   Look again before you leave and update your packing list. Give yourself a reminder if there are items you need to collect or pack at the last moment.

Use the forecast as a packing input

A forecast is most useful when connected to the day you expect to have. Rain matters differently on a mostly indoor city visit than on a day spent outside. A warm afternoon does not tell you everything about an early start or late return.

Keep the basic list stable and adjust only the small number of items affected by the conditions. This makes it easier to see what changed and why.

Do not confuse a suggestion with a guarantee

Weather can change, and forecast availability depends on the information available to the app. Review the forecast details you are using rather than relying only on a suggested item.
